Frequently Asked Questions
When do I meet my stylist?
Immediately upon booking, your stylist will be assigned and will reach out to schedule your 1-on-1 introductory meeting. This meeting does not count towards your package hours.
What happens during my first meeting?
Your first meeting with your stylist is about getting to know each other. They’ll ask you LOTS of questions to really dive into what makes you, you, and how you want to portray yourself to the world. You’ll go over clothing budget, sizing, preferences, pet peeves, brands you like, brands you don’t like, and everything in between. You will also have the chance to ask questions about anything on your mind.
How is my stylist chosen?
We take many factors into consideration including goals, personal preferences, and personality, and then we choose the stylist that will best fit all of that.
Can I switch stylists?
Yes, depending on availability, however, time already used will not be renewed.
Do you work exclusively with certain brands?
No! We also believe this is a HUGE deal. We are not limited to any store, brand, or designer. We listen to our clients, craft and assemble a unique style concept for them, and find clothes from whichever brands will fit their body and that concept the best. Sure, you can work with “stylists” at individual department stores, but they’re limited to what they have available.
Also, when we can’t find something… we make it! Not many styling companies can also produce luxury custom clothing to fill the holes in your wardrobe.
Is clothing included in the cost?
No. Neither the cost of clothing from pieces we suggest or purchase on your behalf, or the cost of custom clothing, is included in the cost.
Is travel included?
For short-term packages, travel is not included, unless previously agreed upon. For long-term packages, travel is built into the cost for an in-person wardrobe analysis and shopping session.
How do the style sites work?
You will receive private login information directly from your stylist to access your Style Site. No one outside of you (or those you share it with) and the G ALXNDR team can access your portal.
How do you work with clients around the country?
We style for clients around the country using our Style Site technology. It is your own private, digital wardrobe, meets dressing room, meets inspiration board. We can pull all recommendations digitally, and create Pinterest-like boards to show you how to wear it all. Even communicate directly with your stylist in the portal.
Additionally, we regularly travel around the country for clients, so budget-allowing, we’re happy to come to you.
I don’t want anyone to know I’m working with a stylist or am very private. Do you share client names or information publicly?
Given the level of many of our clients, we understand the need for protecting your privacy. No information will ever be shared without your permission.
Will you Sign an NDA or Privacy Agreement?
Yes, as needed, per situation.
