One person. One day.

Studio Day

A day on camera with me, built around the keynote, interview, or announcement you’re preparing for.

The day

You’ve got something big coming. You leave ready and excited for it.

01

The position

We start on camera and work out exactly what you want people to walk away with: the story, the key points, and the one line the day gets built around.

02

The rehearsal

Then we rehearse the real thing — the keynote run-through, the mock interview, the Q&A drill — and I stop you, honestly, until the delivery matches the material.

03

The wardrobe

What to wear, from someone who has dressed people for national television: what reads well on that stage, in that room, on that camera.

04

The film

The day is filmed throughout, and the best of it is edited into clips and video you can use — so the day keeps working long after the big one is behind you.

Who books a day?

Executives with something big coming up.

  • A keynote in six weeks. The talk is written, or nearly. The delivery is what decides how it lands.
  • A new executive role. You just took a bigger job, and the first hundred days are watched. Walk in already good on camera.
  • A press cycle.A launch, a raise, a story about to run: several interviews that matter, close together.
  • A partner’s client.PR, communications, and executive search firms bring me in for the on-camera part. The relationship stays theirs.

A Studio Day starts at $7,500, scoped to what you’re preparing for.

Questions

The short answers.

What do I walk away with?

A story you can tell out loud, a fully rehearsed keynote or interview, wardrobe direction for it, and edited video from the day.

I have one interview coming, not a keynote. Is a full day too much?

Maybe. For a single interview, podcast, or panel, partner firms bring me in for Media Prep: a prep call, a filmed mock interview, a straight debrief, and a wardrobe note. Tell me what you’re walking into and we’ll scope the right size.

What does it cost?

A Studio Day starts at $7,500. The exact number depends on what you’re preparing for, how much rehearsal it needs, and what we film — you’ll have it after one conversation.

Is Studio Day part of The Monthly?

No. Studio Day stands alone: one day, one goal, no retainer attached. The longer build is The Monthly, and it’s a separate conversation.

Where does it happen?

Chicago, your office, or on location — including the actual room or stage you’ll be on, when that helps the rehearsal.

The next step

The way in is a conversation.

Tell me what you’re walking into and when. I’ll tell you honestly whether a day is the right size.
