Creative Direction
Creative direction for launches, campaigns, and raises.
You get one shot at how the big thing shows up. We work out the idea with you, direct every piece of it, and see it through to done.

Why it matters
Most announcements look the same.
Not because the work is bad, but because nobody directed how it shows up. So the launch looks like every other launch, and people scroll past the thing you spent a year on. The difference between seen and skipped is rarely budget. It’s whether somebody with taste actually directed it, or at least thought it through.

What a project looks like
The idea, the direction, the finish.
It stays yours the whole way. We work on it with you, in three parts:
- The idea.We start with what you’re making and what you want people to feel, then work up the concept with you until it’s one nobody else in your category would run.
- The direction.Every surface held to one standard: the shoot, the set, the wardrobe, the film, the room. Your team stays your team. We direct so it all says one thing.
- The finish. We stay through execution, because the difference between a concept and a campaign is everything that happens after the deck.

Who hires us for this?
Founders and executives with a date on the calendar.
- A launch, announcement, or campaign. The way it shows up should look like where the company is going.
- A fundraise.Investors read the founders before the deck. Nail how you come across, how you sound, and how it all presents before you walk in the room.
- A book launch or an upcoming keynote.Your name is on it, so it has to feel like you at your best.
- A brand that outgrew its look. You’ve changed. The visuals haven’t caught up.

Why us?
13+ years of making people and brands look like their best work.
Grant has spent 13+ years on exactly this: retail stores he ran, brand booths at The Chicago Collective, custom clothing, dozens of photo, video, and commercial shoots, graphic and web design, national TV, and House of Style, a video podcast he hosts and directs. He has worked with multiple New York Times bestselling authors on their launches, from the creative direction to styling the tour and every event. Before any of that, he was a communication and change management consultant, writing the strategy people actually read. Different surfaces, one job the whole time: make the thing people see match the quality of the thing you built.
Projects start at $7,500, scoped and priced before we start, with an end date. The way in is a conversation.

Questions
The short answers.
How much does a creative direction project cost?
Projects start at $7,500 and are scoped and priced before any work begins. You’ll have a number after one conversation about what you’re making.
Are you a fractional CMO?
No. A fractional CMO runs your marketing month to month. We direct one thing that matters, finish it, and hand it back. If what you want is ongoing work on how you come across, that’s The Monthly.
Do you produce the video and photography too?
We direct it. We bring in crews when you need them and direct the ones you already have, so the output matches the idea. What you’re buying is the eye, not the equipment.
How long does a project take?
As long as the date demands and no longer, because every project here has an end date. Most run a few weeks to a few months, set in the scope before we start.
